The vision of "Future City, Indigenous Thought"

"Future City, Indigenous Thought" is a scientific semiannual of the Faculty of Art and Architecture of Yazd University, which has been publishing scientific articles for researchers and students of urban planning and architecture since 2024 by observing quality criteria and using appropriate mechanisms. This publication can be a pioneer in presenting the achievements and original scientific research of Iranian researchers to the domestic and foreign scientific community.

The aim of the publication "Future City, Indigenous Thought" is to publish the results of scientific research in the field of contemporary urban planning, traditional and local urban planning, and arts related to urban planning and architecture in the geographical and social spheres.

The subject areas of the publication are: urban planning, urban design, urban planning, contextualism, which are related to urban planning.
